Built by Fine Entry Marine in Geraldton, WA, "Van Diemen" is an impressive 25m aluminium patrol boat design, and is the pride of the Tasmanian Police fleet upon its launch in December 2024.

Designed using robust Lloyds SSC Patrol Vessel scantlings and compliant with NSCV 2B for the rough Southern Ocean around Tasmania.  The vesse arrangement makes for a very functional, comfortable and high performance patrol vessel that's ready for extended patrols in harsh conditions.

The vessel also features a Veem Gyroscope Stabiliser for heavily reduced roll motion for increasing comfort, safety and endurance of the crew.  The aft work deck features a dinghy chute for safe launch and recover of the 5.8m support RHIB.
